150km Bac Ha to Ha Giang
Day 9 was a nice day. Started off a bit wet but was there for the famous Sunday market which was cool. Explored that quickly and then found a back road down which turned out to be under construction and then a landslide had destroyed what remained of it. The locals pointed to a little path and so instead of heading back up the hill, I followed their recommendations and 2 hours later, rather worried the detour would never end, I ended up on my original route. Trust the locals!!! The weather cleared up, washed the bike but the rear brake was out of pad so no rear brake, road-on and arrived Ha Giang late for dinner.
