2024 02: The main roads are kind of crazy and no fun for cycling. The back roads offer a good cycling experience so try and plot your routes only via the village lanes, gravel canal roads , and quiet, undulating back routes. A gravel bike is highly suggested with lots of gears for the steep stuff and some semi slick fat tires like the Sworks 42 pathfinders are perfect for bad roads and dry off-road routes. Getting a van to support worked really well and not super expensive. Weather perfect this time of year but remember the sun cream! Great food, really good service, lots of things to see and interesting stays make for a good brake (or ride)….收起
