Good night’s sleep at low altitude and a good Zhangzhu meal.
Nice ride along the river for 85km, mostly flatish downhill. Actually stunning scenery, but too much traffic.
Stopped for lunch and put the bike back in the car so I would have enough time to check out the Yigong Lake area. Phone dropped, bent, and broke, getting trapped in the car door 🙂 Now I need to hunt for a new phone, but at least photos are auto-uploaded. Rain came in more and it’s getting late, so I decided to sit in the car and drove up the hill to Luliangzhen, where I’m staying for two nights. It feels like I’ve moved from the lowlands of a Chinese Welsh valley to the Swiss village highlands with Chinese caricaturists.
