Long uphill to 5100m after car ride.
Over ambitious with the planning, so drove the first 60km and did the big hill. Very slow going and 85km riding was more than enough. Now being on the G318 means a lot more traffic, but it’s generally well-behaved and people are friendly. I got back in the car for the dark 6km tunnel, which I have no interest in riding. Then I got out and had a long, breathless, nice climb up to 5150m, which I think is the highest I’ve cycled. Snow on top plus a little celebration for Arsenal winning the league 🙂 A scenic and fast descent into Zogang. Little town which seems to have some interesting rock formations. Hotel was not too bad.
SGL LH D10: Flat to Bangda

A nice, easy flat ride to Bangda town, which is more like a road junction than anything else. The scenery got better along the ride, otherwise, little to report. Dump of a place to stay in but cannot have it nice in every place.
